Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.-James 1:27

Why is the walk so important? · 4,000 foster children in the city of Riverside
There are orphans among us, and they are called foster children. These are the children who have been removed from their parents due to abuse or neglect. The reasons are many, but the result is often the same, a child that needs to be cared for. There are over forty scriptures that speak the Christian community as to its responsibility in meeting the needs of these children. Too often, our churches have not heeded these callings and have turned the responsibility of caring for these children over to others. This is why we walk.

F.A.C.T.O.R.

F.A.C.T.O.R : Foster advocates caring together of Riverside, is a nonprofit company who organize the “WALK YOUR TALK WALKs” throughout Southern California, to provide an avenue to increase the involvement of service from the community with worthy organizations that positively impact children in the foster care system. They work with communities, educational and government agencies, to increase awareness, raise funds, and promote volunteer opportunities in the foster system. Each year the proceeds from the walk are donated to a local organization to help support their programs which focus on meeting the needs of foster children. The walk provides organizations and other agencies the chance to provide information to the community to get involved in service opportunities. F.A.C.T.O.R’s purpose is to aid foster and adoptive kids and the organizations that support them.
