The Walk Your Talk Walk is an annual event with a twofold focus. The first is to raise funds for foster care organizations to assist them in their ministry to foster parents, foster youth, adoptive parents and adoptive youth. The second is to raise awareness in the community, both Christian and secular as to the needs of the foster/adoptive community. With thousands of children in the foster care system and more coming each day, the needs are many.
Through this walk much progress has been made in bringing awareness to the needs of children in the foster care system. This event has been responsible for approximately 40 families becoming foster parents and untold numbers of children who have been ministered to. But more directly many foster kids found permanent homes and were given hope for a brighter future.

How can I make a REAL difference? PRAY! For next years WALK, you can pray for local foster children in Riverside who are waiting to be matched with a forever family. GIVE a financial contribution to send a foster child to camp for a week or weekend. Click here for a full list of ways to volunteer and change the lives of foster children.
Whether you walk, pray, donate or join in other foster care efforts, your contribution and participation does make a significant difference in many lives!
