Step out with us March 27th 2010!
Walk to help Riverside foster children

Save the date Saturday March 27th 2010 marks the day for The 6th Annual Walk Your Talk Walk to raise money and awareness of the needs of children in the foster care system. All monies raised will benefit local programs that focus on meeting the needs of children in the foster system and children who are aging out of the system.

The proceeds for this year’s walk will go to

to support their year around camp for Riverside foster teens. The Teen Leadership Foundation offers support and guidence for teens prior to being "aged out" of the foster care system. Their programs provide avenues in which teens can enter the adult world having a support basis surrounding them. Through the weekend camp programs teens can develop a relationship with a stable adult figure to become a positive role model and lifelong mentor.

The 2010 walk will be hosted once again by
California Baptist University, located at 8432 Magnolia Avenue, Riverside at 9 a.m. with registration beginning at 8 a.m.  The walk is a simple two mile course around the Lancer Loop and is open to everyone.
